Geographical and cultural context
UASC constitutes the official memory of the University and represents the accumulated experience of this community that has greatly contributed to the history and development of Saskatchewan. Their collections include materials relating to Saskatchewan, Western Canada, and the University of Saskatchewan, including works by university authors.
UASC also supports campus records management including retention and disposition.

Holdings about Ukrainians at the University of Saskatchewan includes the Alpha Omega Society fonds, the G.W. Simpson fonds, the Dmytro Stryjek fonds, among others. There are also several photographs including photos of the Diefenbaker family and Vasile Avramenko.

Retrievals of archival and special collections material are available during the following times:
